GraceNotes was founded by Sarah Hager Johnston, an experienced musician, writer, and research professional.
Ms. Johnston earned the Bachelor of Music degree with honors from the University of Massachusetts, with a double concentration in music theory and voice. She also earned the Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons College with highest honors, and was elected to Beta Phi Mu, the International Library and Information Studies Honor Society.
Ms. Johnston is also an accomplished poet whose work has appeared in the American Organist and other publications.
GraceNotes is a division of Peregrine Information Consultants, a research consultancy also established and led by Sarah Hager Johnston. Peregrine Information Consultants offers research, analysis, competitive intelligence, news updates, writing/editing, and related services to business clients and affiliates. With more than twenty-five years’ experience in corporate, engineering, medical, music, and academic library and information centers, Ms. Johnston brings established skills and a broad perspective to the challenges of finding, analyzing, and communicating complex information for a diverse clientele. Her research, analysis, and writing skills make her much in demand among business clients.
