Terms and Conditions
Delivery. Unless a client requests otherwise, we deliver our program notes, writing, and research products via email, using Microsoft Word® format documents. We use a minimum of formatting, so that your program editors can easily insert our notes into your program book.
Copyright. Unless negotiated otherwise, GraceNotes retains copyright on all finished program notes and annotations that we prepare for clients. GraceNotes reserves all rights for the use or re-use of these materials.
Clients must include GraceNote’s copyright credit line in all uses of our program notes and annotations (programs, liner notes, web postings, etc.), using this format:

All rights reserved. Further use or re-use prohibited except by agreement.
Use and Reuse. Clients may use GraceNotes written products only for the performance(s), recording(s), or publications agreed on. For subsequent use, or for any other use, including posting on your website, please contact us to obtain permission. Additional fees may apply.
Clients may not edit, shorten, augment, or otherwise change GraceNotes written products without express permission from GraceNotes. If GraceNotes written products need to be adjusted to meet program or contractual requirements, let us know and we will make any needed changes.
Copies of Finished Publications. Clients are asked to provide GraceNotes with copies of publications and recordings where our writings have been published:
· Concert programs – Two (2) printed copies (not electronic)
· Recordings – One copy, with complete liner notes
· Web postings – Email with link(s) to relevant website(s) where our writings have been posted
· Articles – One printed copy of each newsletter, magazine, newspaper article, etc.
Privacy Policy. GraceNotes respects your privacy. We will not divulge, sell, rent or trade any of your personal information to any third party. We ask for your personal information for the sole purpose of serving you. We maintain a client mailing list so that we may keep you informed of new services, special offers, etc. We will never share this list with anyone else.
Services for Students. GraceNotes does not provide program annotation services or undertake research for students at any level. We believe that learning to do one’s own research and write one’s own program notes are essential components of every musician’s education. Students seeking research assistance should consult the library staff at their educational institutions. However, we are pleased to offer editing and proofreading services for all clients, including students.
