GraceNotes offers a range of writing and editing services:
· Editing and/or proofreading for your programs, website content, publicity materials, liner notes, newsletters, articles, research papers, conference programs, etc.
· Original articles, biographies, or essays suitable for publication in your newsletter, on your website, etc. Topics might include biographical essays on soloists, ensembles, or composers; exploration of historical periods or events that influenced selections on your season programs; discussions of musical technique or analysis, etc.,
· News releases, web content, and other public relations materials.
· Synopses of operas, ballets, and other dramatic works.
· Assistance with writing and editing concert programs, including formatting texts and translations.
· Development of singer handbooks, administrative or organizational materials, indexes, etc.
When you send your request or inquiry for writing or research, please include:
· Your contact information (name, phone, email, city, etc.)
· For writing projects: A detailed description of your project, including desired format(s), approximate length, audience, due dates, etc.
· For editing projects: A detailed description of your project, including the type of assistance you need (editing, revising, fact checking, proofreading, etc.)
· For research: A detailed description of what you need to know, how the information will be used (so we can tailor our search to your needs), and when you need to receive the finished report.
We will contact you to get more detail, and then we’ll develop a brief proposal and estimate for your approval.
